Advanced Galvanising is a galvanising plant situated in Bellville. In 1993, the Prima Group acquired a share in this lucrative business, and in 2006 we became the proud sole shareholder.
Advanced Galvanising is the leading galvanising business in the Western Cape, and do “hot dip” galvanising for a variety of customers in the steel and related industries. The business boasts galvanising baths 14m long, 1.4m wide and 3m deep.
The galvanising of steel products (such as fences, security gates, boat trailers and other steel structures) involves a process in which the steel is covered with zinc to prevent rust.
There are a variety of benefits associated with galvanising, making it the preferred method for rust prevention. These benefits include it’s cost effectiveness, easy application, low maintenance and a long lifespan.
